Town halls closed on Labor Day

Sept. 3. Town employees in Cornelius , Davidson and Huntersville will observe the Labor Day holiday on Monday, Sept. 7 and will not be working remotely that day. Police and fire departments will still be available in their roles as first responders.  Waste Pro will be operating on a normal garbage pick-up schedule on Sept. 7.

Since its April 10 launch, Davidson Community Foundation has raised nearly $275,000 in Emergency Funds for vulnerable and financially-distressed local residents who face job loss or other significant hardship due to the impact of the COVID-19 crisis. Annual sidewalk project

Aug. 31. The Davidson Board of Commissioners unanimously approved moving forward with the engineering for sidewalk on the northside of Beaty Street, from the entrance of Oakhill Apartments to Shearer Street and possibly to north Main Street.
