New search warrant details suggest Madalina’s mother wanted to ‘smuggle’ her away from home

March 9. With the search for 11-year-old Madalina Cojocari continuing unabated, the Charlotte Observer and local broadcast media are reporting that newly released search warrants indicate that her mother Diana wanted to “smuggle” her child away from their home in Victoria Bay.

Search warrant documents show the mother wanted to exit a “bad” relationship with her husband—Madalina’s stepfather, according to the Charlotte Observer.

The mother and step-father remain in custody having waited three weeks to report Madalina missing.
