Still missing: Madalina Cojocari

Dec. 17. Hours after her husband was arrested for failing to report the disappearance of a child, the mother of a missing girl was also arrested under the same charges.

Cornelius Police have arrested Diana Cojocari, the 37-year-old mother of Madalina Cojocari, 11, who was last seen in Cornelius on Nov. 23. The step-father, Christopher Palmiter, 60, was arrested early this morning.

The couple reported Madalina missing just this past Wednesday.

They have lived on Victoria Bay Drive since 2017.
