Davidson announces holiday closures, waste collection

Aug. 30. Waste Pro will be on a one-day delay in Davidson due to Labor Day. Town Hall and Parks & Rec will close Sept. 6, in observance of the Labor Day holiday, re-opening Tuesday. Monday’s waste routes will be collected on Tuesday; Tuesday will be collected on Wednesday, etc.

Davidson Housing Coalition gets $300K grant from county

Aug. 23. The Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners has agreed to a $300,000 grant for rent subsidies at the Hoke Townhome development in Davidson.
