The Cornelius Historic Preservation Committee will hold another “Trash or Treasure: What’s in Your Attic?” Saturday, Sept. 23, from 9 am to noon behind Town Hall. Big fun with Little Smiles Saturday
Little Smiles of NC will host a cornhole tournament benefiting children in local hospitals tomorrow at Al’s Bar and Grill in Magnolia Plaza. Registration is from noon to 12:45; bags start flying at 1 pm. The cost is $15 per person. There will be a raffle and drink specials.
Back to school bash Aug. 26
A back to school bash will be held Saturday, Aug. 26, at Robbins Park, complete with the Lego Batman movie under the stars at dusk. Rotary Satellite Club ‘Pup Crawl’
The new Rotary Satellite Club , which meets at El Toro Mexican Grill Wednesday evenings, will host a “Pup Crawl” Sept. 15 .
