Police apprehend 2 juveniles in gun shop break-in

Break-in at The Range

Sept.24. Cornelius Police have apprehended a 12-year-old and a 15-year-old in a break-in at The Range on Bailey Road in the early morning hours Monday.

Police said the two admitted their involvement in the break-in and recovered guns that had been stolen.

Police earlier said three suspects broke into the gun shop and left in a white Nissan Rogue, with no license plate displayed. They left the scene heading north into Davidson, then towards I-77.

    2 THINGS really stand out in this story.

    1, WHAT are these two under age minors doing out of there houses at 2-3am??? Talk about bad parenting…you have no idea where your kids are and how they got out of the house this late at night, and it’s a SCHOOL NIGHT, at that…

    2. IF 2 MINORS were able to break into this gun range, you must have cheeseball locks and the worst security measures ever….might want to think of locking up all the weapons in a thing called a SAFE after you leave for the night….

    The break in, underage driving, no license plate, robbery. Don’t be gentle, throw the book at them and the parents.
