By Ryan Moxon — Hough dispatched Green Run (Va.) in a rare Saturday afternoon home game, 45-0.

Special teams, an area of focus for the Huskies since Week 1, scored the game’s first two touchdowns on a 90-plus-yard kickoff return by senior defensive back Davion Jones and a blocked punt returned by senior defensive back Josh Dobson.

Hough tacked on two rushing touchdowns, one by junior running back Jamarion Morrison, another special teams touchdown on a punt return by Sincere Day, and led 35-0 at the end of the first quarter.

The Huskies spent much of the remainder of the game eating up the clock, adding a field goal in the third quarter and a 50-plus-yard touchdown pass from backup quarterback Christian Druzbik.

The Huskies are 5-0 and head to West Mecklenburg on Friday night to take on the 0-5 Hawks.
