Oct. 9 Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services staff has identified harmful algal blooms in lower Lake Norman. Swimmers and pets should avoid contact with the water in that area at this time. Storm Water Services staff will continue to monitor the blooms and provide any updates.
