Kiwanis golf tournament canceled 

Aug. 17. The LKN Kiwanis Club Golf Tournament at Cowan’s Ford Country Club  has been canceled.

Proceeds from the September 14 tournament would have supported the Lake Norman Kiwanis Club effort to improve the lives of children in the area.

Gary Garcia, one of the tournament organizers, said the club had to cancel the tournament as the golf course would not let the tournament to play due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The LKN Kiwanis meet each Thursday at noon for lunch at Brooklyn South.
