Leap Day is Saturday. Discovery Place Kids is having a Leap Day celebration where you can learn why we have a leap year. Join the Coffee Chat on Monday with Cornelius Town Board members.  Dr. Seuss’s birthday is Monday.

ROOTS Showcase

An annual showcase highlighting Black artists and talent on campus in honor of Black History Month. This event will include several performances/presentations of various talents and a recognition of the Honored Guest. 8 pm to 10:30 pm, Chambers Lilly Family Gallery, Davidson.

Little Shop of Horrors

The Community School of Davidson presents their take on the classic musical Little Shop of Horrors.  7 pm to 9pm, CSD Art space, Davidson.

Lego Club: Blocks and Books

Explore engineering through stories, hands-on educational activities, & manipulatives. Bring your imagination. LEGO blocks are provided. 6 pm to 7 pm, Cornelius Public Library.

Newsmakers Breakfast: Affordable Housing

(SOLD OUT) Cornelius Today and Business Today will host a Newsmakers Breakfast on at The Peninsula Club on the subject of affordable housing. 7:30 am to 9 am, Cornelius.

Tuck Everlasting the Musical

When Winnie Foster discovers the magical secret of the Tuck family, she embarks on an extraordinary adventure that will change her life forever. 2020 Dale Beatty Memorial 5K

Join Purple Heart Homes for a day of movement and memories during our Dale Beatty Memorial 5K. The event will be held at Eleven Lakes Brewing Company where there will be plenty of ways in which you can support the mission of PHH to provide aging and disabled Veterans with the housing solutions they need. 9 am to 1 pm, Eleven Lakes Brewery, Cornelius.

Rikki’s Story time

Ms. Rikki presents a book and a craft on select Saturdays for our story time offering!Rikki is a kindergarten teacher at Davidson K8 and loves to share her love of reading and crafting sensory-based, book-themed projects with her young readers. 10 pm to 10:30 pm, Main Street Books, Davidson.

Leap Year

This year is Leap Year, so instead of 365 days there will be 366. What amazing things will you do with an extra day?
