Early voting opens today through Nov. 1 at Town Hall

Lines were moving quickly this morning with only a handful of voters waiting outside of the community room at town hall. One candidate estimated that roughly 200 people had cast votes thus far.
Voters this election cycle will choose a mayor and fill all five seats on the Town Board of Commissioners. Three candidates are running for mayor and six for the board.
The ballot also includes the District 1 race for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools board, with three candidates, and a referendum on a proposed sales tax increase to fund transportation projects.
Polls will be open on Election Day, Nov. 4, at multiple locations across town. Click here to view the full ballot.
