Nov. 10. The 2020 Adopt-A-Family for the Holidays with the Cornelius Police Department is underway. If you are interested in sponsoring a family, please click here  to fill out your information by Friday, November 27 and the Cornelius Police Department will match you with a family in Cornelius.

Cornelius PD will provide you with a wish list from a family in the coming weeks.

The department recommends three gifts per child, with a maximum dollar amount of $40 per item. They ask that you follow this rule to be consistent across all the families and sponsors.  Please consider at least one clothing item and two items from the wish list.

Deadline

Sponsors must bring the gifts to the Police Department by Wednesday, Dec. 16. All gifts must be wrapped and labeled with the recipient family’s code before bringing them to the Police Department. More info: Graham Smith at 704-892-1363.
