Wastewater spill on Davidson Street larger than first reported

Feb. 22. Charlotte Water crews responded to a wastewater overflow today near 21300 Davidson Street in Cornelius. At first it was estimated that 21 gallons reached Lake Norman; around noon Charlotte Water upgraded the spill to 520 gallons. A blockage of paper caused the overflow.
