Bradford defeats Marcus in District 98 race
Democrat Natasha Marcus was calling opponent John Bradford to concede around 11:45 pm on Election Night.
Republican John Bradford has a 55-45 percent lead over Democrat Natasha Marcus in the NC House District 98 race with nine out of 12 precincts reporting.
Bradford has 11,478 votes to Marcus’ 9,491. There are 12 precincts in the district. Political insiders say there is no way for Marcus to make up the vote deficit with the three remaining precincts.
“I’m very proud of the campaign we ran and I very much appreciate the donors and the volunteers who have helped us get this close and this far,” Marcus said.
