June 9. Ada Jenkins’ Loaves & Fishes has reopened their food pantry to allow in-person shopping for its clients to make their own selections.
All nonperishable food items are welcome, and other items such as shampoo and toilet paper.
They have an ongoing need for dry cat and dog food in 3- to 5-pound bags.
The center’s homeless clients also need bug spray, spray sunscreen, sun bucket hats, body wipes and clean ponchos.
Items can be dropped off at the Ada Jenkins Center, 212 Gamble St., Davidson.
