Marie Yovanovitch

A Conversation with former U.S. Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch

7 – 8:30 pm. Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch will be speaking  about her recent book “Lessons from the Edge,” a New York Times bestseller. A career diplomat and former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, she found herself in an unanticipated role as a key player in the 2019 impeachment proceedings against then-President Trump. Yovanovitch will be joined by former U.S. Ambassador to Bulgaria and current President of the American Foreign Service Association Eric Rubin to discuss challenges to advancing U.S. national interests worldwide, but particularly in countering Russia’s aggression in Ukraine and its consequences.This event, but tickets required. Senior Dance

3:30 – 4:30 pm | Thursdays. This free class is designed for senior adults to improve flexibility, breath, balance, mobility, and fluidity by exploring various elements of ballet, jazz, modern, and improvisation. Participants can choose to take the class seated, standing, or a combination of both. Presented by Charlotte Ballet. Northern Regional Recreation Center, 18121 Old Statesville Rd., Cornelius.

Girls Night Out

4-8 pm | April 7. The Pink Boutique is parking their big pink bus in our Biergarten for a night of shopping along with Nomadic Jeweler, a Jewelry pop-up making tailored and permanent jewelry. Rescheduled: Spring Fling Eggstravaganza

House and Store Guided Tour
