Oct. 8. It will be cloudy today and Saturday, with off-and-on showers and possible thunderstorms, but perfect weather is setting up for Sunday. For NASCAR fans, it means there’s about a 40-50 percent chance of showers or thunderstorms during the Drive for the Cure at Charlotte Speedway Saturday afternoon.

But Sunday’s Bank of America ROVAL 400 will be run under sunny skies with a high around 76.

Monday will be warmer, sunny and in the upper 70s.
