Weekend weather: A mix, but Halloween evening looks gourd

Oct. 28. Today and Saturday are similar, weather-wise: Sunny, breezy with highs around 63 Friday and 62 Saturday—perfect weather for trunk or treating. On Sunday, there’s a 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after 11 am, high near 62 with showers into the night.

The big question is Halloween. The National Weather Service is calling for a 50 percent chance of showers and a cloudy 67 degree day, 55 overnight. The showers taper off by late afternoon.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, high near 71.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, high near 70.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, high near 68.
