Laketoberfest

Oct. 13. The 11th Annual Laketoberfest Music & Brew Festival will be celebrated Saturday, Oct. 14 at Bailey Road Park.

This annual community event from 4-9 pm features live music, beer from local NC breweries, a variety of food trucks, kid’s zone with crafts and games and axe throwing.

Admission and parking are free.

The no-no’s

Pets are not allowed at this event, so leave them at home. Also, glass bottles, containers, tobacco products, smoking, e-cigs, vaping and open flames are not allowed at this event.

Jewish Deli Fest on Sunday, Oct. 15

The annual Lake Norman Jewish Council Deli Fest is all about the food. Kosher-style, authentic, traditional, delicious Jewish Deli favorites. Come and enjoy a New York kosher-style deli sandwich of corned beef or pastrami with coleslaw and pickle. Add a hot potato knish from Brooklyn, Hebrew National hot dog, soda and chips, or a traditional kosher dessert.

There’s also music, dancing and contest noon to 4 pm at the Village Green in downtown Davidson.
