On Wednesday, 1,115 people voted at Cornelius Town Hall. Since EV began Oct. 17, 15,807 people have voted at Cornelius Town Hall, making it the fourth-busiest polling places in Mecklenburg County.
—County-wide, 343,331 people have voted early, according to the Board of Elections.
—You can vote at any one of 33 early voting sites county-wide.
—The wait in Cornelius has generally been 20 to 40 minutes according to campaign workers; yesterday there was no waiting at 1 pm.
On Election Day, Nov. 5 voting is open 6:30 am to 7:30 pm. Voters must cast their ballots at their assigned precinct
You will need a photo ID to vote in North Carolina elections. Most voters can use their driver’s license, but there are other types of accepted photo IDs.
