March 12. Developer Jake Palillo, whose proposal for a mixed-use project on West Catawba generated opposition from neighbors, should have an easier time Monday March 15 when his rezoning applications for 16 single-family home, comes before the Town Board for a second and final public hearing.

Palillo is planning nine homes on eight acres on Mayes Road and another seven homes on a separate plot located at Ayla Lane. Both projects are linked to the Bailey Glen development and have generated little if any opposition.

A decision on the applications is currently set for Monday April 5.
