Trevor Pitts is new Eagle Scout

Trevor Pitts of Troop 42 in Huntersville has achieved the Eagle Scout rank.  He has earned 41 merit badges, qualifying him for bronze and silver Eagle palms. He is also a member of the Order of the Arrow. His Eagle service project was to build a woodland playground for the Latta Plantation Nature Center. Only 2 percent of Scouts have attained the Eagle rank since the award’s inception in 1912. Trevor is the son of Trent Pitts and Kathryn Ross of Cornelius.
