Jan. 26.  North Mecklenburg charities Safe Alliance, Serenity House, and Caterpillar Ministries will receive grants from The Peninsula Community Foundation.  The local volunteer organization approved more than $20,000 for these charities at its recent board meeting.

Foundation President Todd Wiebusch said, “These are three outstanding and diverse local charities that provide great support to those in need in our local community.”

Since its founding in 2002, The Peninsula Community Foundation has donated more than $1,100,000 to local charitable organizations.
