The Marketplace’s first anniversary is Friday

The Marketplace, a Christian fair trade store, will celebrate its first anniversary at the Oak Street Mill on Friday, July 10, beginning at 6:00 p.m. At that time, they will also be introducing The Rolling Shack, a 22-foot step van designed to look like a Third World Marketplace. It will be traveling all over Charlotte and nearby cities and hosting “pop-up” shops.

Partnering only with artisan groups that are sharing the gospel and investing in the lives of their artisans, the Marketplace’s mobile truck will enhance the organization’s mission of empowering people and changing lives.
