April 14. Cornelius and Davidson town offices will be closed Friday and re-open on Monday. Garbage and recycling pick up will remain on a regular pick-up schedule in Cornelius and Davidson.

The Post Office will be open.  Good Friday is not a federal holiday, although many businesses and municipalities recognize it as a holiday.

North Carolina is one of 10 states that recognize Good Friday as a state holiday. Others are: Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, New Jersey,  North Dakota, and Tennessee.
