Sandi Vizner is Rotarian of the Year

Sandi Vizner's PictureSandi Vizner is the North Meck Rotary Club’s new Rotarian of the Year.  The award recognizes a Rotarian who has made a significant impact through leadership and dedication to the ideals of Rotary, an organization which brings together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and to advance goodwill and peace around the world.  Vizner, a Rotarian since 2003, has served in many leadership roles in the club, including serving president in 2012-2013.  As last year’s club Rotary Foundation chair, she led a campaign that raised $35,618 for the Rotary Foundation, a 217 percent increase in total club giving compared to the previous year.  She is president of the Lapis Financial Strategies. She supports local charities and organizations including Relay for Life, Big Day at the Lake and Friends of the Animals.
