Residents Invited to offer regional mobility input

July 15. CONNECT Beyond, a regional mobility initiative led by the Centralina Regional Council and the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS), is asking residents to participate in short, virtual listening session interviews to develop a transit plan for the 12-county region.

The transit plan will guide future public transit investments in the region and serve as a blueprint for how to develop and implement an interconnected public transit network which will allow residents and visitors to travel seamlessly throughout the 12-county region- crossing municipal, county, and state lines- aboard high-quality public transportation services.

To help refine CONNECT Beyond’s regional transit plan recommendations, they are hosting short virtual listening session interviews with community members from across the region.

$25 gift card

These 30-minute interactive interviews can be done in either English or Spanish, and each household that participates receives a $25 gift card.

Those interested in participating in a listening session can register online at www.connect-beyond.com or text “I am in” to 704-666-2951. Once registered, a CONNECT Beyond team member will reach out and coordinate a virtual listening session interview.
