Oct. 27.  The 38th Annual North Mecklenburg Parade will be virtual this year instead of running down Main Street from Davidson to Cornelius.  

Applications for the 38th Annual North Mecklenburg Holiday Parade are available online at www.townofdavidson.org/dpr. Up to 100 video entries will be accepted  to allow for an enjoyable viewing experience.

As of Oct. 29, there were about 15 entrants, parade organizers said, so there’s still time to get a good spot in the parade. Santa has reserved his traditional last spot in the line.

The deadline to submit your video will be Friday, Nov. 6. You will receive an email confirmation upon completion of registration and provided a link to upload your video.

The parade will be viewable online 1 pm  Saturday, Dec. 5.
