Come by land or water for a free outdoor showing of “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” at Ramsey Creek Park July 8. The show gets under way around 8:30 pm, but kid-friendly things start happening at 7, including hot dogs, Italian ice and beverages for purchase. Put on by the Town of Cornelius Parks, Arts, Recreation and Culture Dept., the movies are shown on an inflatable “blimp” screen. The shows are free and part of what PARC does for residents.
