Pickleball

March 4. The town Parks and Recreation Department’s  Senior Open Gym Pickleball moves from Sunday afternoons to Thursdays evenings.

There is no session this Sunday, March 6.

The play resumes 6-8 pm, at JV Washam Recreation Center starting Thursday, March 10 flor ages 50 and up. Free.

Pickleball lessons 

Lake Norman Pickleball Association (LNPA) is offering two, four-week sessions of pickleball lessons on Tuesday evenings at Torrence Chapel Park.

Choose from Pickleball 101 for Beginners and Pickleball 102 for Advanced Beginner/ Intermediate players. Spaces are limited.

Lessons are April 5- May 3, no lessons April 19.

The cost is $55 for LNPA members and $65 for others.

The Lake Norman Pickleball Association was founded in September of 2020. The Club became a 501 (c) (7) not-for-profit social corporation in November of 2020.

 LNPA serves Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Mooresville, Denver and surrounding areas.

The mission of the Lake Norman Pickleball Association is to be a community partner by promoting the sport of pickleball in the Lake Norman region through social events, educational clinics, competitive tournaments and advocacy for new facilities.
