Oct. 31. The big day for political candidates is Tuesday, Nov. 3, but early voting is still going on SATURDAY at Town Hall and 16 other sites around Mecklenburg County. Chances are good you’ll meet candidates outside the polls until they close at 1 pm today. There was no wait when Cornelius Today visited. Pictured are candidates Mike Miltich and Denis Bilodeau,  as well as incumbents Jim Duke and Thurman Ross. Polls open on Election Day Nov. 3 at 6:30 am and close at 7:30 pm.
