New waste contractor July 1
June 5. Concord-based Waste Pro will take over trash, recycling and yard waste collection in Cornelius starting July 1. The town has signed a 10-year contract at the same cost as Republic Services, the current waste service provider.
The company will roll out some new trucks, while maintaining the same collection days for residents. Trash and recycling carts, owned by the town, will not be replaced.
Waste Pro has the Davidson contract as well. Town officials say they’ve been responsive and “ready to deal with any issues that arise in a reasonable amount of time.”
One new feature which they will bring to Cornelius is an online customer service communications system called TRAC-EZ. It will enable residents to follow service inquiries and concerns using homes computers.

I hope that this company serves Cornelius residents better than they serve the Asheville area customers. Did anyone look at yelp regarding customer complaints of Waste Pro?
Customer service in that area is very concerning!
