New Town Board commissioner appointed in Davidson

March 27. Ted Stauffer is the newest Davidson Town Commissioner, having been appointed to the two-year term vacated by the resignation of former Town of Davidson Commissioner, Matt Dellinger in January. Stauffer will fill the remainder of the current 2023-2025 two-year term.

Stauffer was nominated and approved by a unanimous roll call vote and sworn in at the public meeting last night.

Stauffer, a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the United States Army with 29 years of service, is long-time resident of the Town of Davidson.

Stauffer participated in the Town’s CIVICS 101 course, and volunteers his time and service to local community partners supporting the Ada Jenkins Center, Senior Community Connections, and Continuing the Mission.
