Mt. Zion announces Holy Week, Easter services and activities

April 2. Mt. Zion United Methodist Church welcomes the community to Holy Week and Easter services and activities. On April 9, children and families will gather on Mt. Zion’s front lawn for an Easter Egg Hunt at 11 am.

There will be bouncy slides, baby animals, hot dog lunch, and lots of eggs.

Palm Sunday

On April 10, Palm Sunday will be observed at the 8:30, 9:45, and 11:00 services, with children processing in waving palm branches.

Maundy Thursday, Good Friday

A Maundy Thursday service and a Good Friday service will be held at 7 pm on April 14 and 15, respectively.

Easter

Easter will be celebrated on April 17 with a Sunrise Service at 7 am, and Resurrection Day Worship services at 8:30, 9:45, and 11:00 am.

The Sunrise Service and 9:45 service will be outside, and worshippers are encouraged to bring their own chairs.
