April 14. The Lake Norman Kiwanis Club recently decided to add a bi-monthly breakfast meeting to its regular schedule. The club will meet at 7:30 a.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month at Bob Evans Restaurant.

The club also holds weekly meetings at noon Thursdays at Brooklyn South Pizzeria in Cornelius.

Club President Jeff Hammett said the agendas for the breakfast and lunch meetings will be similar.

“Our membership is very diverse and [some members] have hardships in coming to meetings.  The key is to reach as many members as possible with the information of what is going on,” Hammett said.

The club also plans to add more evening socials to its calendar.
