Lowe’s Hometown Grant Program currently accepting local applicants

Lowe’s Hometown Advisory Committee, which includes representatives from education, recreation and business in Lake Norman-area communities, reviews applications and recommends grants for funding. Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation has earmarked $250,000 in annual contributions for Lake Norman-area community improvement and public school projects. An additional $250,000 in Hometown grants are also awarded to local nonprofit organizations in the Wilkes County area.
To apply for a Lowe’s hometown grant, visit responsibility.lowes.com/apply-for-a-grant. Non-profit organizations should submit an application before September 1, 2015 to be considered for the next review, but applications are accepted throughout the year and awarded quarterly.
