LKN Chamber plans candidate forums; former mayor and NC senator will moderate

Sept. 28. Former NC Sen. Jeff Tarte will moderate the LKN Chamber candidate forums planned for Cornelius, Davidson and Huntersville. The forum for Huntersville is Tuesday, Oct. 5; Cornelius, Oct. 7; and Davidson, Oct. 14. The forums begin at 7 pm.

Tarte

Tarte, the public policy chair of the chamber, was mayor of Cornelius from 2007 to 2012. His tenure in the NC Senate was ended in 2018 by Natasha Marcus, a Democrat from Davidson.

The Davidson forum will be strictly virtual while the Huntersville and Cornelius forums will be in person and virtual. Those who wish to attend must RSVP to the chamber.
