The Lake Norman Kiwanis pancake breakfast is running now until noon at Angels & Sparrows, 514 Olds Statesville Road in Huntersville. Pancakes, sausage and coffee will be served from 8 am to noon. The proceeds support the community, including Angels & Sparrows and the new splash park in Smithville. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children. The event includes music from MusicalMinds students, a silent auction and a 50-50 raffle. Kiwanis meet each Thursday for lunch at Brooklyn South.
