June 14. Independence Day observations are back after the COVID hiatus. While there are no fireworks in Davidson, residents are invited to celebrate with a patriotic stroll up South Street to the Town Green. There will also be a concert on the green starting at 6 pm. Likewise, no town-sponsored fireworks in Huntersville July 4, but Birkdale Village will have a bike parade and block party from 10 am to 1 pm.

The Town of Cornelius celebrates Independence Day June 19 with the Charlotte Symphony and fireworks at Bailey Road Park.

The fireworks will be back at The Peninsula Club at dark on July 4. It’s a private event, but cars line Jetton starting in the early evening to view the always-awesome show.
