Gather old documents for shredding on April 9

March 25. The Cornelius and Davidson Police Departments are joining forces to offer a free shredding event on Saturday, April 9 in the Hough High School student parking lot.

The event will run 9 am until noon, or until trucks reach  capacity.

Officers will be assisting with directions and participants are asked to stay in their vehicles.

Residents can bring up to four boxes (normal file sized) of obsolete documents, financial statements, etc. No need to remove clips, staples or binders from these documents.

Please do not bring items that can be recycled or trashed, such as junk mail, newspapers or magazines. This will help ensure these documents can be shredded professionally and your data will be protected.
