The Lazy 5 Ranch hosts its annual Fall Festival this Thursday with fun for everyone.  Friday‘s highlight is the Davidson Halloween March starting at 5 pm.  Cornelius has its own Halloween in Old Town on Saturday. The Carolina Renaissance Festival rounds out the weekend with Halloween Daze and Spooky Knights on Sunday.

Lazy 5 Ranch Fall Festival

Fall is in the air which means it is time for our annual Fall festival! Special events include: straw castle, corn box, pumpkin patch, marshmallow roasting, pumpkin slingshot, and pumpkin decorating.  Mooresville.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Join us for a concert version* of this cult classic! Come dressed in your favorite Rocky outfit. Sweethearts Brad and Janet, stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a scientist. Warehouse Performing Arts Center, Cornelius.

Davidson Halloween March

The Town of Davidson will celebrate the Halloween season on Friday, October 25 starting at 5:00 p.m. with our traditional Halloween March along Main Street.

Movies in the Park

Come out to Movies in the Park. We will be showing Hocus Pocus. Veterans Park, Huntersville.


Saturday Oct. 26

Halloween in Old Town Cornelius

Dress up in your best costume and  visit downtown Cornelius businesses for tricks and treats 2-6 pm. Saturday, Oct. 26.  Enjoy live music, food trucks, costume contests, Halloween-themed crafts.

Stop the Hate Rally

Join your neighbors to take a stand against hate and violence. Featuring cultural performers and community members speaking out against hate towards people of color, Jews, Muslims, immigrants and LGBTQ, as well as against gun violence.

Officer Sheldon Family Fall Festival

Bounce Houses, Fun Games, Vendors, Face Painting, Music, Trackless Train Rides, Great Raffle Prizes, Food and Giveaways.  Downtown Mooresville.

Zootastic Park Fall Festival

October 26 & 27. Come to the zoo and enjoy fun fall activities. Fun passes, feeding passes, and encounters available to purchase.  Zootastic Park, Troutman.

Halloween Comic Fest

Doors open at 10 am. Comics from many publishers will be waiting for you.  Get here early some titles will go fast!


Sunday Oct. 27

2nd Annual Dino Open

Please join us Sunday, October 27th at Northstone Country Club in Huntersville, NC to help us raise funds that let us create smiles. This will be our second tournament that honors the memory of our friend Jeff “DINO” DiNicola.

Halloween Fun Fest

Dinner, games and crafts. Trunk or Treat. Decorated vehicles are needed. 5 to 7pm, Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.

Halloween Daze and Spooky Knights

Children and parents alike enjoy the fun and safe trick or treating experience with free treats to be found at over 100 locations throughout the Festival Village.  And don’t miss the children’s Halloween Treasure Hunt with Treasure Chest filled with prizes. Vulture Playground Fun

Haunted History Tour

A special evening tour with Rosedale and Paranormal Society members. From the reconstructed blacksmith shop, to the gardens, to the first floor and cellar of the house itself, you’ll hear tales of the macabre and the stories behind Rosedale’s resident spirits. Historic Rosedale Plantation.

Tune & Tales with Jamie

Join us with your kids for a story time with live music! Our musical story teller, Jamie, will lead our avid young readers in tunes accompanied by her mellifluous guitar and ukelele that complement the book of the day. Main St. Books, Davidson.
