The Lake Norman YMCA is kicking off summer on Saturday with a family fun day and showcase of its summer programs. Bring your bathing suit and towel! Or, stay dry while celebrating the start of summer with a good book.Main Street Books in Davidson is hosting an all-day summer kickoff party with story time and crafts, science presentations, teen trivia and a movie. Cornelius PARC’s Senior Fit Club starts Monday. The six-week fitness program will include low-impact aerobics, functional resistance exercises, flexibility training. Classes will meet at 11 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays at Fitness by Jeri.
