The Downtown Holiday Spectacular runs in Mooresville until Dec. 31. New Years on Main is a prime spot to ring in the New Year in Mooresville as well. Discovery Place Kids is holding New Years at Noon, a kid-friendly twist on the traditional New Year festivities. Drive through reindeer forest, the Christmas Wonderland of Lights, watch the light show dance to music, and walk around part of the zoo! Zootastic Park, Troutman. Runs through Dec. 31.
Join a Ranger and enjoy a short hike at Lake Norman State Park. Hike the .8 mile Alder Trail which follows the shorelines of Norwood and Hicks Creek. Lake Norman State Park, Troutman. 11:30am – 12:30pm.
