YOUNG
Constance Cornelia Stroud Young, 83, of Cornelius, NC passed away Saturday February 7, 2015. Constance was born July 2, 1931 in Greenville, SC to the late James and Eva Mae Stroud. Constance graduated from Parker High School in 1949 where she enjoyed playing basketball. She then went on to attend a business career school in Greenville, SC. She was an avid painter and enjoyed crafts, sewing, knitting and she loved to cook.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darel Young, and brothers, J.C. , Talmadge and Marilyn “Cat Head” Stroud.
Constance is survived by her loving family; children, Mike Young of Cornelius, Belinda Berginz and her husband Daniel of FL, Edmond Young and his wife Bettyanna of AL, Candace Young and her husband Kyle Lee of Charlotte; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday February 11, 2015 in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
