Oct. 9. The Lake Norman Chamber will host a two-hour candidate forum in Cornelius Thursday Oct. 12 at Town Hall. There are 10 candidates for five seats on the Cornelius Town Board.

The chamber will also hold the Huntersville forum in two parts: Tuesday, Oct. 17 and Thursday, Oct. 19, both at Huntersville Town Hall. There are 17 candidates for Huntersville Town Board and three candidates for mayor.

Also planned is a “Meet and Greet” for Davidson candidates Oct. 30 at Davidson Village Inn.

All three events run 7 pm to 9 pm and are open to the public.

The forums will be moderated by Justin Ckezepis, general manager of WSIC in Statesville.
