The early voting scene…20-min wait at 9 am Friday

Voters showed up at Cornelius Town Hall as early as 6 am on Thursday, the first day of Early Voting, which runs through until Saturday, Oct. 31. NEW: But on Friday morning at 9 am, the wait was only about 20 minutes. Polls are open till 7:30 pm. They reopen tomorrow at 8 am.
