The Cain Center for the Arts has unveiled its Fall 2026 Performing Arts Season, featuring more than two dozen performances ranging from tribute concerts and comedy acts to theater productions and family entertainment.
The season marks the fourth fall lineup presented by the Cornelius arts venue since opening in 2023.
A centerpiece of the season will be a co-production of the Broadway hit “Million Dollar Quartet” with Davidson Community Players. The musical runs Aug. 8-23 and marks the first collaboration between the two Lake Norman arts organizations.
The production tells the story of the legendary 1956 recording session that brought together Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis. Audiences can expect performances of songs including “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Walk the Line” and “Great Balls of Fire.” The production will be directed by Scott Albert.

Are You Ready For It?
Music remains the largest category in the fall lineup.
Returning tribute acts include Good Times Bad Times, performing the music of Led Zeppelin; Are You Ready For It?, celebrating Taylor Swift; and the Jazz Legacy Project’s tribute to Louis Armstrong.
New tribute shows will honor artists including Elton John, the Eagles, Pink Floyd, ZZ Top, Genesis, Tina Turner, Johnny Cash and Meat Loaf. The Players, featuring former members of the band Chicago, also will perform during the season.
Country and Americana performances include Chatham Rabbits, Stundom and actor-musician John Schneider, best known as a cast member in the hit 1980s show “The Dukes of Hazzard.”
The season also includes several family-focused shows. Highlights include “Clifford the Big Red Dog,” “The Amazing Bubble Factory” and illusionist Jeki Yoo.

Bad Momz of Comedy
Comedy programming will feature performances by Bad Momz of Comedy, Jimmie Walker, Tom Cotter, Group Chat Girlies and comedian Jen Kober. Other featured events include “Menopause The Musical,” “The Ugly Seasonal Sweater Soiree” and a performance by the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra.
Jazz, blues and soul offerings include appearances by Tuba Skinny, blues guitarist Marty Manous, Spyro Gyra and Masters of Soul.
The variety of performances reflects Cain Center’s continuing effort to attract a broad audience from across the Lake Norman region, with programming that ranges from Broadway-style theater and nationally touring tribute acts to comedy, classical music and family entertainment.
The full schedule is available on the Cain Center for the Arts website.
