April 17. The archery range at Fisher Farm Park is almost ready. Mecklenburg County has completed building the archery range. News of the archery range was announced in January.

Fisher Farm is 200 acres of land protected by environmental easements.

The archery range will add to the passive recreation options allowed within the easement, while not disturbing the soil or causing erosion.

On Saturday, April 1,  seven participants attended an Archery Certification course in preparation for  upcoming programming.
