Huntersville Mayor John Aneralla, a past Kiwanis Lt. Governor, inducted the 2018 officers of the Kiwanis Aktion Club at the March meeting. The club is comprised of special needs adults, 18 years and up.
Inducted as new officers were Allison Serdnisky, president; Jack Davis, vice president; Eric Wallace, treasurer; Connor Perkins,s ecretary, Tyler Deaton, sergeant at arms; and Drew Hanline, chaplain. In addition to the officers, Aneralla also inducted Andres Collazo and Carlton Morris as new members. The club meets on the fourth Friday of each month at the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce, 19900 West Catawba Ave.
“The club is a democracy, and as officers you should let the ideas and opinions of all members be expressed,” told members.
In accepting the office of president, Allison Serdinsky informed the members that the club would continue to focus on projects they could work on together making the community a better place to live. The club also has two social excursions planned which include a Charlotte Hockey Game and an upcoming trip to Spare Time Bowling in Huntersville.
