Ada Jenkins blood drive Dec. 12

Nov. 24. The Ada Jenkins Center will hold a blood drive Saturday, Dec. 12 from 11 am to 5 pm with OneBlood. Safely distanced donations are the order of the day. Donors will receive a free OneBlood fleece blanket, a $10 eGift Card, a wellness checkup and a COVID-19 antibody test as well as a blood pressure, temperature, iron count, pulse and cholesterol screening.

Please do not attend if you have a fever. You must wait at least 14 days before donating if you have been exposed to someone who has or may have COVID-19, have recently been tested and are pending test results for COVID-19 or if you have a confirmed active case of COVID-19.

The Ada Jenkins Center has stood in Davidson for more than 80 years as a hub for education and community services in northern Mecklenburg County. Services include a medical clinic, dental clinic, food pantry, workforce development, child and adult education and social work case management.
